We provide access to free and fair support, we help with general advice, employment queries, immigration, and more.

Our model is that we undertake collective casework - this means that the nannies & au pairs in our group work together to manage casework and provide support to fellow workers in need. While many of our cases are relatively minor, where necessary we will refer members to our legal caseworker for more formal advice. Members are generally connected with with our caseworker if they have faced exploitation or abuse in their work that cannot be resolved through mediation, for instance if they have not been paid on time or are being forced to work more hours than initially agreed to.

We cover matters including:

1. Immigration aid
2. Employment disputes
3. Queries about pay, holiday, or working conditions
4. Housing and homelessness
5. Abuse and exploitation

If there is an emergency situation such as being kicked out of your au pair house without warning or being left without pay or food, our Emergency Aid working group can provide accommodation, hardship grants, and food at short notice.
